Can the RX 6500 XT run GTA 6?
Compared with the PS5, which runs GTA 6 at 30 fps, the RX 6500 XT is below it: it scores 45 where the PS5's graphics, matched by the Radeon RX 6700, score 100. In numbers that is 32 % of the PS5 Pro, 38 % of the Xbox Series X, 115 % of the Xbox Series S. The figure is our conversion of Notebookcheck's 3DMark Time Spy average onto the same scale, so treat it as an estimate. That is more than 15 % short of the console, so if the PC version asks for console-class graphics, this card would need lower settings than the PS5 uses.
The RX 6500 XT has 4 GB of video memory. Red Dead Redemption 2 recommended cards with 4 GB and GTA V Enhanced cards with 8 GB, so it meets the older one and falls short of the newer. Rockstar has not said what GTA 6 asks for; the PS5 shares 16 GB GDDR6 between its processor and graphics.
