# GTA6FPS

> Compare your graphics card, processor and RAM with the PS5, the console GTA 6 is built for. No made-up frame rates: every figure shows its status and its source.

GTA6FPS answers one question for PC players: can your PC run Grand Theft Auto VI? Rockstar has not announced a PC version or published requirements, so nobody can give a frame rate for any PC yet. The site compares a PC with the PS5 instead, which runs GTA 6 at 30 fps. The site publishes no frame rate for a graphics card nobody has measured in the game.

Every figure on the site carries a status badge and a source:

- C: Confirmed by an official source: Rockstar, Sony, Microsoft or a manufacturer spec sheet.
- R: Reported by press or reviewers, from measurements on real hardware, but not announced officially.
- E: Estimate: a conversion between two sources, a formula or our own working assumption. The method is on the methodology page.

## How the checker rates a PC

- [GTA 6 PC checker](https://gta6fps.com/#checker): pick a graphics card, a processor, RAM (8, 16, 32 or 64 GB) and optionally the drive type. A result can be shared as a link, such as https://gta6fps.com/?gpu=rtx-3060&cpu=ryzen-7-5800x3d&ram=16.
- Scale: every graphics card and processor has an index where the PS5 scores 100. For graphics the stand-in is the Radeon RX 6700 (10 GB); for the processor, the AMD 4700S desktop kit.
- Below the PS5: index under 85, more than 15 % short of the console.
- Close to the PS5: index 85 to 129: console class, short of our port margin.
- Above the PS5: index 130 and up, at least 30 % ahead: the margin we keep for the extra cost of a PC port.
- The overall level is the weaker of the graphics card and the processor, because Digital Foundry expects GTA 6 to be limited by the processor.
- RAM, video memory and the drive add warnings against the specs of Rockstar's last two PC releases; they do not change the level.

- PC graphics card closest to the PS5 GPU: Radeon RX 6700 (10 GB) (reported). Digital Foundry calls its specs "extremely close" to the PS5 and matched settings between the two in seven games, with the RTX 2070 Super as a second stand-in. ## Our forecast for the PC requirements (estimate, not Rockstar)

- Forecast: graphics card for the recommended spec: close to the PS5 or better (our index 85 and up) (estimate). GTA V Enhanced, the newest Rockstar PC spec, recommends an RTX 3060, which sits close to the PS5 on our scale, for a game first released on the PS3. We expect GTA 6, built for the PS5 from the start, to ask for at least that level. - Can my PC run GTA 6? Nobody can tell you yet: Rockstar has not announced a PC version or published requirements. What can be measured is how your PC compares with the PS5, which runs GTA 6 at 30 fps. - When is GTA 6 coming to PC? Rockstar has not announced a date. GamesBeat reported a PC release in Q1 2027 (January to March), citing four anonymous sources; Rockstar did not comment. - Why does the checker care so much about the processor? Because Digital Foundry expects GTA 6 to be limited by the processor: the PS5 Pro gains little over the base PS5 for exactly that reason.
