About GTA6FPS

An independent, fan-made reference for one question: can your PC run GTA 6? It exists because search results for that question are full of frame rates and spec lists invented before any PC version existed.

What we will not publish

A frame rate for a graphics card nobody has tested in GTA 6, a requirements list Rockstar did not write, or a figure without a source. Until the PC version exists, the honest answer is a comparison with the PS5, which runs the game at 30 fps, and that is what the checker gives. When Rockstar publishes requirements, and later when real benchmarks appear, the site switches to them the same day.

How figures are checked and labelled

Every number on the site is stored once, with a status, a source and the date it was last checked. Pages, the checker, the FAQ and llms.txt read from that single data set, so an update in one place changes the whole site. The three statuses:

C Confirmed
Confirmed by an official source: Rockstar, Sony, Microsoft or a manufacturer spec sheet.
R Reported
Reported by press or reviewers, from measurements on real hardware, but not announced officially.
E Estimate
Estimate: a conversion between two sources, a formula or our own working assumption. The method is on the methodology page.

The methodology page explains how the graphics card and processor indexes are built, and the sources page lists every figure. The console version of GTA 6 comes out on November 19, 2026; the baseline will be checked against measurements of the final game after that.

How the site is funded

Through advertising and Amazon affiliate links, as the footer of every page says. Affiliate links are marked as sponsored and appear only next to graphics cards, where buying one is a real option; they never influence an index, a level or the checker's result, and we print no prices.

Corrections

Found a figure that is wrong or out of date, or a card missing from the list? Send it through the contact form with a link to the source. We check it, apply the correction and credit the source on the sources page.
